Preschool & Kindergarten Programs
Our Full Day Preschool & Kindergarten Program begins at 8:30AM and concludes at 2:00PM. AM program hours are from 8:30AM-12PM with optional Lunch Bunch from 12PM-2PM.
Students at New Morning Schools spend their days in developmentally appropriate classes. Within these classes, and with the guidance of a consistent teaching team, students have a balance of learning in the areas of literacy, seasonal lessons, math, science, independence and citizenship.
All children in our full day preschool programs are fully potty-trained and 3 years old. Click the programs below for more details.
Full Day Preschool and Kindergarten
Our Full Day Preschool & Kindergarten Program begins at 8:30AM and concludes at 2:00PM. AM program hours are from 8:30AM-12PM with optional Lunch Bunch from 12PM-2PM.
Upon registering and based upon availability, parents can design a weekly schedule that meets their family and child’s needs. Kindergarten children spend at least 4 days a week with us in order to be best prepared for First Grade.
Learn to Ski Program – New Morning Schools’ Learn to Ski Program runs in partnership with Pats Peak Ski Area. Beginning in January and running for 5 consecutive weeks, many of our 4- and 5-year-old students enrolled in our Full Day Program are ready to participate in this invigorating opportunity. Students ride to the mountain with a parent where they participate in a ski lesson with a Pats Peak instructor, snack, some free ski time and lunch. It is a great experience for the students (and the parents). There are additional fees that apply to participate in this program.
The IMAGINE Program – Located on the same campus, our school age after school enrichment program is an option for after care for students in our Kindergarten program. The IMAGINE Program offers the opportunity for kindergarten students to experience a school-aged program after school hours. More information about The IMAGINE Program here.
AM Preschool
Our AM Preschool Program offers a morning-only program for those families looking for a shorter day. AM Preschool begins at 8:30AM with a 12:00PM pick-up.
Students in the AM Preschool program spend their day in a mixed aged class with a consistent teaching team. Just like the students who stay for the full day program, our AM Preschool students have a balance of learning in the areas of literacy, seasonal lessons, math, science, independence and citizenship.
Our AM Preschool Program admits students on a rolling basis as space allows. As a student turns 3 and is bathroom independent, we will gladly welcome him/her to our classroom. Upon registering and based upon availability, parents can choose a schedule with 3 mornings a week, Monday-Wednesday-Friday schedule or Tuesday-Thursday schedule.
Extended Care
Extended care is available daily beginning at 7:15AM-8:30AM and ending with afterschool care from 2PM-5:30 PM. Extended day programs both AM and PM are available with no advance notice. We are flexible and do not charge for the days your child is not attending.
All students are dropped off and picked up using our valet line. Our friendly teachers greet each student upon arrival. Parents enjoy daily interaction with teachers or directors at the drop-off and pick-up times. Valet drop-off and pick-up is available throughout the day, beginning at 7:15 AM through 5:30 PM.
In addition to the daily curriculum offered, students enrolled in our Full Day Preschool Program are encouraged to consider our special program offerings.
Preschool Camp
Preschool Camp is available for all children ages 3-6. Children do not need to be enrolled as students at New Morning Schools to participate in our camp programs. Activities include lots of time outside, art projects, stories, free play, organized games, music and dancing, water play, science experiments and just great summer fun. Students must be independent bathroom users and 3-years old to attend. Check out our forms below for scheduling and more information!
